Read The VP-President Elect Candidates’ Statements

This year’s candidates for the position of ACRL Vice-President/President-Elect, Erika Linke of Carnegie Mellon University and Scott Walter of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, have provided to ACRLog their official candidate statements. More information about both candidates is available at the ACRL website. The statements are designed to give ACRL members some perspective on the candidates’ views of major challenges confronting academic librarianship, and how their leadership of ACRL would help the profession to meet those challenges. The statements are also published in College & Research Libraries News. The statements have been posted to a special page.
