Here’s an unsigned article listing top ten free web tools for college students. Most of them are productivity oriented, it’s not clear if the author really is a student or a person connected with any of these sites. But in any event these are some free sites to be aware of. I’ve been randomly using Ottobib for a few months to see if it’s accurate enough to recommend to students. For a learning community on my campus in the Fall we’re going to recommend everyone use delicious to share bookmarks instead of or in addition to me creating a subject guide. By the way, if you’re expecting the library to show up on this list you’ll be disappointed. Wikipedia does make it however.
