It may be tempting for ACRL to cooperate with Princeton Review in an effort to raise the profile of academic libraries. But associating with those who want to reduce the selection of the best to a list without the transparency of the criteria used is dangerous. The rest of higher education is trying to run away from such lists. ACRL's work with NSSE to develop appropriate measures is much better use of our energies.
