The Shape of Topology Scholarship

The new Journal of Topology, discussed last fall in ACRLog when Topology’s editorial board resigned in protest of Elsevier’s high prices, is now accepting submissions. According to the Chronicle, Elsevier’s Website hasn’t quite caught up with the fact their editorial board has vanished; the instructions for authors still refer writers to the old editorial board. The new journal subscription price is roughly a third of the old journal.
